Aromatic Summary / Note / Strength of Aroma: A top note of strong aroma, this Lavender has a floral scent that is sharper and more camphoraceous than Lavender French, and smells more like Lavender Spanish.

Product Abstract: The Lavender plant is a woody evergreen shrub, up to 1 meter tall, with pale green, narrow linear leaves and violet blue flowers. The entire plant is covered with oil glands, which are in the star shaped hairs that cover the plant. Lavender has been used since ancient times, and the Romans added lavender to their bath water, hence the name from the Latin lavare, 'to wash'. Differences in soil, altitude and temperature, precipitation and seasons contribute to subtle changes in the scent from one lot of Lavender to another.

Cautions: Dilute before use; for external use only. May cause skin irritation in some individuals; a skin test is recommended prior to use. Contact with eyes should be avoided.

This lavender is instant painkiller

I have used lavender from many countries, but this South African Lavender is the most potent in its painkilling magic. I put one drop on a sore shoulder joint, disperse it with water, and within half an hour - no more pain!! Same for hand and knee joints. Its actually a miracle.

I have been experiencing adult acne for 1 year now, and tried several products but none of them worked. I tried steaming my face pouring some drops of 100% lavender oil inside the water, since the second time of steaming, improvement could be rated as 70% clearer face skin than before using. Never tried to apply it directly on my skin, I am afraid of break outs, but even with steaming every week it has done wonders for me. I strongly recommend at least trying it.
